The general remedies for different planets according to Lal Kitab are following:-
Remedies for Sun:-
1 Fast on Sunday.
2 Reciting or listening to Harivansha Purana.
3 Wheat, jaggery and copper etc, to be given in charity.
4 Maintaining good moral character.
5 Wearing Ruby or in place of Ruby copper can be used.
6 Throwing copper coin in the flowing water.
7 Keep main entrance from east.
8 Keeping away from black marketing and black marketers.
9 Do not give in alms the article pertaining to Sun if Sun is exalted.
10 Service of Government officials.
Remedies for Moon:-
1 Keep fast on Monday.
2 Worship Lord Shiva or go on pilgrimage to Amarnath .
3 Milk, rice or silver to be given in alms.
4 Wear a white milky pearl or alternatively silver can be substituted.
5 Blessings of mother (grand mother, mother-in-law, mother's mother, mother's sister).
6 Silver nails in the feet of the bed.
7 Silver or rice to be dropped in the Crematorium.
8 Taking bath in the Ganges or running water.
9 water tank over head should be cleaned in 5 to 6 months.
10 No water pump or well under the roof.
11 Giving things pertaining to Moon in charity if Moon is in debility but not when she is in exaltation.
Remedies for Venus:-
1 Fast on Friday.
2 Desi ghee, curd, camphor etc. to be given to places of worship.
3 Wear diamond or the pearl.
4 Perfuming the clothes and using cream & face powder etc.
5 Clothes should be clean and ironed.
6 Worn out clothes or burnt clothes should never be worn.
Remedies for Mars:-
1 Fast on Tuesday.
2 Sindoor to Lord Hanuman.
3 Throw in the running water pulse of masoor, or honey or sindoor.
4 Service of brother.
5 Sleeping on deer skin.
6 Pure silver to be used.
Remedies for Mercury:-
1 fasting on Wednesday.
2 Green things in alms or dropped in the running water.
3 Copper coin with a hole to be dropped in the running water.
4 Service of or domesticating goat and parrot.
5 Belt to be used.
6 Bangles and clothes of green colour to be given to eunuchs.
7 If Mercury is in debility the things of Mercury should be given in alms, but never should this be done when Mercury is in exaltation.
8 Blessing of daughter, sister, father's sister, mother's sister and wife's sister. They should also be helped to the extent possible.
Remedies for Saturn:-
1 Fastings on Saturdays.
2 Bhairon worship and giving wine to him in temple of Bhairon.
3 Milk for the serpents.
4 Oil and wine to be distributed free.
5 Loaf of bread with mustard oil on it to be given to dogs and cows.
Remedies for Rahu:-
1 Sarawati Poojan.
2 Never accept electrical items, steel vessels or blue clothes.
3 Kanya dan.
4 Wearing gomed.
5 live in joint family.
6 Never use tobaco.
Remedies for Ketu:-
1 Fasting on Ganesha Chaturthi and Ganesha Poojan.
2 Til, lime and Bananas etc. to be given in caharity.
3 White and black pet dag in the house or feeding such a dog daily.
4 Good moral character and conduct.
5 Sour things to be given to female children below the age of nine years.
6 Black and white till to be dropped in running water.
