These oils are very useful in rituals when astral candles are used to represent individuals. In making these oils, use only one herb or flower listed for each of the zodiac signs, following the same technique. There are many different suggestions of colored candles to use for each zodiac sign. It's suggested to use whichever authority you place the most confidence in.

Cancer (June22- July 22): Aloe, water lily, hyacinth, all nocturnal flowers, bay leaves, larkspur, cedar, myrtle, cinnamon, poppy, blam, daisy, buckbean, sweet flag, sundew, lotus, agrimony.

Leo (July 23- Aug. 22): Red sandalwood, frankincense, camphor, cassia, clove, golden rod, great celandine, eyebright, poat's rue, chamomile flowers, sunflower.

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sept. 22): Morning gory¸cornflower, asters, petunias, citron peel, mace, caraway seed, male fern, horehound, lavender, lily, marjoram, snowdrop, narcissus.

Libra (Sept. 23- Oct. 22): Calendula, violet, rose, satinwood, burdock, golden rod, mint, periwinkle, primrose, vervain, pennyroyal, aloe, sandalwood.
