FLOWER SHOWER - TO THE LOTUS GODDESS
Padmaasane Padmakare Sarvalokaika Poojithe ||
Naarayana Priye Devi SupreethaBhava Sarvada ||
Padmaasana Sthithe Devi Parabrahma Swarupini ||
Paramesirjaganmaatha MahaLakshmi Namosthuthe ||

While Lord Sri MahaVishnu is ‘Purusha’, Goddess Lakshmi is ‘Prakruthi’. The supreme Goddess whom we adore as ‘The Mother’ is the Divine Conscious Force that manifests in all the existence. She is the Golden Bridge, the Wonderful Fire, the Luminous Heart; she is the Force, the Light, the Joy and the Might of the unrealised vasts.
‘KADAMBA VANA’ is her abode while the ‘PINK LOTUS’ is the flower of Sri Maha Lakshmi.
Kadamba Vanavaasini, Kaamithardhadhayinee ||
Mudamdehi Munindranuthe, Murahari Sahajaathe ||
Apart from these SriMahaLakshmi is associated with some more Divine flowers and leaves, which in turn brings wellness to the ones offering these to her devotionally, along with a particular Manthra. She showers wealth and prosperity to the ones planting these and caring for them.
Honouring these plants is honouring the Supreme Mother of Nature – Sri VaraMahaLakshmi.
Let us see them in detail:

God has all time before him and does not need to be always in a hurry. He is sure of his aim and success and cares not if he breaks his work a hundred times to bring it nearer perfection. Patience is our first great necessary lesson, but not the dull slowness to move of the timid, the sceptical, the weary, the slothful, the unambitious or the weakling; a patience full of a calm and gathering strength which watches and prepares itself for the hour of swift great strokes, few but enough to change destiny.

In truth, a cultivated and illuminated vital can be as noble and heroic and disinterested as it is now spontaneously vulgar, egoistic and perverted when it is left to itself without education. It is enough for each one to know how to transform in him the search for pleasure into an aspiration for the supramental plenitude. If the education of the vital is carried far enough, with perseverance and sincerity, there comes a time when, convinced of the greatness and beauty of the goal, the vital gives up petty and illusory sensorial satisfactions in order to win the Divine Delight.
